LILY'S 1ST TRIP TO THE ER

Well the day finally came where we had to take one of our kids to the ER. Who better than Lily because she seems to be made of steel....
We were entertaining friends and Lil was showing off her Trapeze bar moves. For the first time ever (2 years worth of trapezing) she fell off and landed right on her chin, wham her chin split open and blood was everywhere! I was freaking out and running all around the house like an idiot because I don't handle extreme situations very well, and Lily was more concerned with what went wrong with her Trapeze move. I rushed her to the ER and we waited patiently until the Dr. could see us. Now here is why she is made of steel: she didn't cry, she didn't wince, she didn't even cower when the Dr. pulled out an 8 inch needle and had to inject her chin with a numbing solution. She took it like a man and endured at least 8 stitches. She was rewarded with a red Popsicle that she didn't have to share with anybody, which seemed to make her the happiest girl in the world.

1st trip to the Dentist

You may be thinking, 1st trip to the Dentist at the age of 4? Yes we are cheap and we don't have Dental Insurance so we held off as long as we could. Lily had sparkly clean teeth and zero cavities, while Olivia had sparkly teeth and 2 cavities :(
Boo! The Dentist said our kids have really deep grooves and ridges in their teeth which means they are more proned to Cavities so we are taking donations now for our future Dental bills ;)
Olivia was a total champ when the Dr. took out the needle and numbed her mouth. She didn't cry and wimper a single bit. Maybe it was because she had her trusty, fabulous Hello Kitty Sunglasses....

OLIVIA'S NEW TUNE ABOUT HOW SHE CAN NOW PUMP ON HER SWING.

BALLET CLASS!!!

Today was a very exciting day in our house because it was the 1st day of Ballet class!
The girls wanted to put their leotard and tights on as soon as they woke up, and even asked me if they could wear them during nap time today. Henry was upset all morning because he didn't have a tard to wear, and because he wasn't going to do Ballet with his best friends. Lily enjoyed reassuring him on the car ride there that the Ballet class would indeed not allow younger brothers to participate. Poor Hen.
