SNIP SNIP

The girls declared that they wanted short hair cuts! So being the fantabulous hair dresser that I am I cut their hair...... ;)

SWEET BABIES

Tonight we decided that it would be the perfect time to give the girls their very special babies that Great Grandma Yvonne gave to them almost 4 years ago!!!
Lily has been singing, dancing, and breast feeding with her baby. Olivia has been preparing multiple beds around the house for her baby. Both of the girls are taking their roles as mothers very seriously and informing me that they are the mommas.

FANTASTIC THURSDAY

Today turned out to be so nice and sunny. I packed up the kids and rode down to Lover's Point where we met friends and played on the beach for a few hours. The kids sunned their buns and played in sand. On the way home we stopped at our favorite Froyo place and satisified our cravings. Olivia likes the chocolate/vanilla combo with sprinkles, Lily likes chocolate with M&M's, and Hen likes whatever I give him as long as it too comes with M&M's.

When I made it back to daddy's shop (that's where I park the van) I turned around to check on
my sweet Hen and here is what I saw....

On the bike ride I noticed there was an area that was fenced off and labeled "Protected Marine Area" and right below that were 2 beautiful harbor seals and their brand new babies! Monterey is so cool.

Olivia and Hen taking a very serious break.

The kids and their friend Duran were making a soup that included lots of water, sand, and broken off crab legs that they found.

My friend Holly and her Sis Heather taking the girls down to the water.

HEN SEEMS SO GIGANTIC TODAY

YESTERDAY

Olivia and her very best friends.
You probably didn't know this but Olivia always has these 2 bunnies with her. She sleeps with them, comforts herself with them, sucks her thumb with them, and absolutely adores them. Without these furry friends she just might as well not go on living..... or so she says.

WE HEART THE DESERT

Daddy had to put in some major hours last week at the shop and that means he would be working 12 + hours a day. Since that is hard on him and hard on us we decided that I would head south for some help and spend the week with my parents in the Desert. Thanks uncle Reed for helping us drive down! Daddy finished his hellish week off and flew out to meet us for the weekend.

Uncle Reed loved reading to the kids in his many accents! My favorite is his Welsh accent. Love ya Reed!
